Acuity - Battery Relocation Tray for the 9th Gen Civic Si

  • This tray allows the battery to be relocated right above the transmission to allow clearance for things like intake piping. 
  • Lower frame is made from rigid, durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel
  • Upper tray is riveted in place and made from lightweight, anodized aluminum
  • Tray mounts rigidly to transmission mount
  • Battery ground connection point on tray frame allows easy ground mounting and excellent ground continuity

Due to popular demand, we are making this battery tray from our Curl Control intake system available separately. This battery tray moves the battery directly above the transmission. It's a great option for anyone looking to install a custom or aftermarket short-ram intake or cold air intake in their car. The tray mounts to the 3 bolts that affix the transmission mount to the chassis.  The tray is covered in a lot of great features. For corrosion resistance, the lower portion is thick stainless steel and the upper portion is anodized aluminum. The lower portion of the bracket is made from 4mm stainless steel plate, nearly twice as thick and strong as competing designs. The tray features slots to affix a battery tie-down to and an integral battery ground mount so that you can get an excellent ground connection, which is critical for consistent cold-starts.

Also featured are mounts to hold our MAF extension (sold separately as SKU 1891-MFEX), and a zip tie point to fasten any other wiring extensions. The upper aluminum section also features laser-etched markings to help denote battery orientation and the various mounting points on the tray.

If you are using the stock charge harness to connect to your battery when using this kit, you will need to either cut and extend your battery sensor harness (2 small wires), OR you can purchase our battery sensor extension harness (SKU 1891-BSEX) that's plug and play with the OEM sensor and harness and just the right length to reach with this tray. Click here for more info on that harness.

  • Will not work with the OEM airbox. A CAI intake, short ram, or similar will be required
  • Works with OEM and Hasport engine mounts; Hasport mounts will require modification for use with this tray
  • Will not work with Innovative engine mounts
  • Works with OEM size battery; larger batteries may have fitment issues
  • If using stock charge harness, you must extend the 2 battery sensor wires or use our 1891-BSEX plug and play extension harness.

Processing takes about 3 to 5 business days before your order ships. If by any chance, your package that has been delivered by the carrier is lost/stolen, YOU (THE BUYER) are responsible for working with the carrier and us, Tri-State Motorsports to recover your package. You must contact us and the shipping company within 48 hours of delivery for lost/damage claims. You are covered by the basic insurance amount APPROVED by the shipping center. We DO NOT refund or reship product for claims that are denied by the shipping company.

How Does Route Work?

If your Route-protected order ends up lost, damaged, or stolen, Route's expert support team helps ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. Claims will be reviewed for approval within 1-2 business days form filing.

How Does Route Process Refunds or Reorders?

Refunds: When refunding an item, Route covers the subtotal, shipping, and taxes.

In both cases, the Route Premium cost will not be refunded.

Reorders: Route will reorder the items, depending on in-stock availability. Unavailable items will be refunded. Route will cover the cost of any reorders including shipping, taxes, and Route Shipping Protection.

When Should I File a Claim?

Stolen (or any package that has been marked as delivered but your customer cannot locate)

  • Your customers have up to 30 days from when the package was marked as delivered to file a claim. Claims will not be approved before 5 days after the package has been marked as delivered giving the carrier time to "actually" drop off the package or for neighbors to return it in the case that it was delivered to the wrong address.

Stuck in Transit (Lost)

  • Your customers have up to 30 days to file a claim.
  • Domestic packages are not considered lost until after the 7th day without a tracking update.
  • International packages are not considered lost until after the 20th day without a tracking update.


  • Your customers have up to 30 days to file a claim after the package has been marked as delivered.
  • For damage claims, we do require photo evidence of damage so we can verify that the product was actually damaged.

What if My Order Never Arrives, Is Stolen, or Arrives Damaged?

Route definitely helps cover these instances!

If your order has not arrived, please file a claim with Route here. For damaged orders, please take photos of the item and the packaging it arrived in to include in your claim when filing.

If your order has defects or you suspect it was damaged during manufacturing, please reach out to use and we will be happy to work with you to remedy the situation.

How Do I File a Claim for my Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Order?

If you insured your order with Route at checkout, you will receive a confirmation email from Route with a link to file a shipping issue.

You can also file a shipping issue on Route's app or via the web here. To file a claim, you will need your store order number OR Route ID number and the email address that was attached to the order.

When will my product ship out?

What's the Warranty on our products?

Unless the product is manufactured by Tri-State Motorsports or TSM Race, ALL Warranties go through the Manufacturer directly. Please visit their official website and get in contact with them in regards to your warranty. We will supply you with any invoice or tracking information the manufacturer asks you for. We also offer Route Protection shipping insurance.

Do you offer any promotions?
