The Clutch Masters K-Series Hydraulic Release Bearing (HRB) is a performance clutch component designed for Honda and Acura K-series engine and transmission applications.

It replaces the traditional clutch release fork and external slave cylinder setup with a compact, hydraulically operated bearing mounted inside the transmission bellhousing.

Its purpose is to provide smooth, consistent, and precise clutch engagement and disengagement, making it especially useful for performance builds, high-horsepower applications, and racing.

How does it work?

When you press the clutch pedal, hydraulic pressure travels through the clutch line to the release bearing. The bearing moves forward and presses against the clutch pressure plate's diaphragm fingers, releasing the clamping force on the clutch disc.

This temporarily disconnects engine power from the transmission, allowing you to shift gears.

When you release the pedal, hydraulic pressure drops, the pressure plate clamps the disc again, and engine power is transferred through the transmission.
